Pain, rain and sheep

Day 2Dartmoor resident Dartmoor

Ray’s access to internet is very intermittent so I am writing a short update for him. He is starting Day 5 today and is on his way to Preston, so quite a bit of the England stretch has been covered. He found the second day very hard, Dartmoor hills have been tough and exhausting and he had a very sore knee. With ibuprofen, stretching and massage he managed Day 3 and yesterday Day 4 was much more tolerable because the route became easier. He now seems to start enjoying the riding and has fallen into a pace that suits him. In regards to the question on everybody’s mind- his bum is totally fine!

Washing along the way

With only £200 to go to his fundraising target he is more determined than ever and all your donations and support do not go unnoticed- thank you! The poor weather on the route must have felt like a perpetual ice bucket challenge while riding a bike so if you you are still looking to donate your £3 or so pounds send them here- VEGA99 £3 to 70070.
